The Warren W. Parke Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship created in the loving memory of Warren W. Parke by his daughter to honor his passion for sports, his contributions to the community and his commitment to education. The scholarship is available to graduating seniors of Wood Memorial High School planning to pursue full-time enrollment at an accredited college or university. The applicants must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale), have been involved in a school-sponsored sport each year of high school, and be regularly involved in community service. Students who have been awarded full “cost of attendance” scholarships as defined by the NCAA are not eligible to apply. Selection will be based on all sections of the application form and the supplemental document(s).
Lucas Gress was the recipient of the scholarship in 2022 and now attends Purdue University, pursuing a degree in Engineering.
